When is the Dr. Stone Season 2 release date? | When does the Stone Wars start?
If you’re here, you know that Dr. Stone’s first season has come to an end following episode 24. You’ll also know that the episode ended with a Season 2 announcement and tease. We know that Dr. Stone Season 2 will cover the Stone Wars chapters of the manga, which is exciting stuff, for sure, but when will it all kick-off?

As of writing, there is no Dr. Stone Season 2 and episode 25 release date. We know that Season two is on the way and that it will cover the events of the Stone Wars, but we don’t know when we will be able to watch it. Thanks to a bit of digging, however, we can make an educated guess that the Dr. Stone Season 2 release date should be Summer 2020.
The first Season of Dr. Stone began airing on July 5, 2019. It’s easy, therefore, to suggest that Season 2 should begin on a similar date next year, in 2020. Things can change, however, and we may well see a release date of spring 2020 or winter 2020 rather than in the summer. We will update this guide when we know more.
Dr. Stone Season 2 English dub release time
As we don’t know when Season 2 will air subbed, it’s difficult to say when it will air dubbed. In the U.S. and U.K. however, Funimation has been airing the first season of Dr. Stone dubbed a couple of weeks after its initial subbed release on Crunchyroll. We could therefore need to wait a couple of weeks following the subbed Season two opener before we can watch it in English.
