Journey to the Savage Planet Green Cube | How to open the Osmotic Cube

The Journey to the Savage Planet green cube, which is officially called the Osmotic Cube, is one of the game’s bigger dilemmas. It doesn’t ever tell you have to open it and you never have to for the story. But how do you open the green cube? What is inside once you do open it?

There are three different Osmotic Cubes in Journey to the Savage Planet, one for each of the main arenas besides the final chamber with the last boss. However, you open them all the same way.

But bullets don’t work. Animal attacks don’t work. So how can you kill an unkillable blob? What can you do to get the upgrade orb that lies within all of them? Well, you have to feed them stuff. In order to feed them, you’re going to need to slap them off the ledge they are on and get them to where enemies are. This is simple since they all are very close to a few enemies.

Kill some enemies and let the blob soak up the carbon, silicon, or aluminium that spills from your foes upon death. The wildlife can also poop it out, too. The blob can also eat health beans from the health plants. You’ll see it grow with everything it consumes. Again, just make sure to stand back a bit so it can eat the orbs before you automatically soak them up. Once the blob eats enough, it will explode and you’ll get the orb inside.

It’s difficult to explain where each cube is since there is no map. In order to make this easier, you should buy the Alien Alloy finder upgrade to see where the cubes are and the triple jetpack upgrades and vertical boost upgrade to be able to get around more easily.
