This update also features a few bug fixes and enhancement otherwise, so check out the latest changes with the World War Z patch notes featured below.

World War Z | February 4, 2020 Update Patch Notes

World War Z patch notes Professionals character pack

The biggest changes offered in the World War Z February 4, 2020 update are reflected within Horde Mode. There are some substantial adjustments on offer here: Overall difficulty has been increased, rewards have been increased, and wave difficulty now increases faster. There are are also now fewer resources available, less time to prepare for waves, and less ammo available to turrets.

It goes without saying that these changes were meant to make Horde much more challenging. In fact, the developers explicitly state the goal was to have shorter and more rewarding Horde sessions. On top of all that, there are also new side objectives in Horde, including tasks to search bodies and capture specific areas in the map.

Naturally, there couldn’t be a new World War Z update without a few bug fixes and balance adjustments. These are in relatively short supply, but there are at least some on offer. Players will note that the Heavy Sniper has had its damage doubled, while the Classic Battle Rifle sees a ten percent increase to damage dealt. On the more functional side, the Bomber is now more susceptible to limb damage and moves more slowly. Finally, this update also introduces The Professionals character skin pack, which is available to all Season Pass subscribers.
