As we’re within the Dreams full release on PS4, people have been wondering about a potential Dreams Xbox release date and Dreams Switch release date. In this guide, we’ll take a look at whether there is ever going to be a release date for Media Molecule’s powerful game creation tool on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. Read on to discover the answer to “is Dreams a PS4 exclusive?” and find out if we’ll see it go multi-platform or not.

Dreams Xbox Release Date

While it would be neat to have a powerful game creation tool such as Dreams available on as many platforms as possible, the game is a PS4 exclusive. As of writing, there is no word on an Xbox One or Xbox Series X release date for Dreams. Of course, this makes sense as Dreams is published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

For now, you’ll have to be happy with playing Dreams on PS4. It’s incredibly unlikely that the game will ever make its way onto Xbox. Stranger things have happened, but we’d argue that you’re safe forgetting about a Dreams Xbox release date ever happening. You’re just going to have to play it on PS4.

Dreams Switch Release Date

While it’s incredibly unlikely that Dreams will ever see release on Xbox, we think it’s even less likely to appear on the Switch. Just as with a potential Xbox release, Dreams is published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. This pretty much makes it so it won’t release on other consoles. Don’t expect a Dreams Switch release date to ever materialize.

Not only would Sony have to give the green light for a Switch port, Dreams likely won’t run at all well on the Switch. Sure, you can tone the graphics down (a lot), but even then, the Switch might not be powerful enough to run the game. You’ll have to stick to Super Mario Maker 2 to get your creative juices flowing on the Switch.
