With a new Season, comes a new map for players to master. The Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 map changes are pretty significant, so even veteran players will need to learn the best landing spots and routes between named places, if they hope to secure that coveted “Victory Royale.” Scroll down to view the new Fortnite map in all of its shiny new glory.

As you can see, the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 map has a host of different spots that players will be fighting over.

  • Sweaty Sands

  • Weeping Woods
  • Holly Hedges
  • Slurpy Swamp
  • The Righ
  • Misty Meadows

These are the new named places that you’ll be heading to for various assignments and to find higher concentrations of loot. Remember their names well, as they’re likely to change in upcoming Seasons!

Some old named places made their return when Chapter 2 launched, so you’ll see find fan-favorite spots like Pleasant Park and Retail Row amongst newcomers like The Shark and The Grotto.

When you initially dive from the Battle Bus and check out the map below, you’ll see that five locations are marked as “???” These areas need to be visited first before they are added permanently to your map. These “???” locations are: The Rig, The Grotto, The Yacht, The Agency, and The Shark. All are defended by NPCs who defend the loot within the base.
