Shattered Planet iPhone Cheats

Tips and Tricks

The main purpose of the game is to get as far as possible before you die, and to collect items and currency along the way.

If you complete a Mission successfully and are teleported back to the ship, you will keep your items.

In Explorer Mode, you earn crystals for distance, while Missions will award rewards specified before you begin them.  Missions are generally harder than Explorer Mode.  You can play either mode at any time and replay them indefinitely.

Be sure to TAKE items from Storage before beginning a mission.

Keep in mind that every turn you take causes the Blight to progress.  The Blight begins as a single-tile shadow where you first land on the planet.  With each turn, it spreads to adjacent tiles.  The Blight harms your clone if she stands on it (at its darkest) and will also produce stronger enemies that will hunt you down.

Enemies, other creatures, and certain objects (mostly crystal patches) will appear in the fog of war as glowing red eyes.  This indicates something is lurking there, but you won’t know exactly what until you get closer.

You can earn pets in a variety of ways: purchasing them from the Crystalobot, buying them via in-app purchases, or finding them while exploring the planet.

Unidentified fluids are colorful bottles of liquid that you will not know the purpose of until you use them once.

Each color has a different effect, but that color changes on each new mission.  So, on trip 1 a green bottle may contain health potion.  But once you die, return to the spaceship, and then start trip 2, the green bottle will reset and could contain anything else, like fire or strength up, etc. and it will be “unidentified” until you use it.

With enough health, you can test unidentified fluids on yourself freely.  Sometimes they will hurt you, but typically not for so much that you’ll be dooming yourself.

If you’re outnumbered or outgunned, don’t hesitate to run away from enemies—or outmaneuver them if you have to get past them to the teleporter.

Natives are peaceful (except the purple Native Chiefs).  When they encounter hostile enemies, they will fight them.  If there is a dangerous enemy near a Native, try letting the Native handle it for you.  Since Natives don’t pick up loot, you can still collect the spoils of war once the battle is over.
