The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered intel locations are the same as they always were. Those pesky computers haven’t moved since 2009. But that doesn’t make them easier to find. So here are the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 intel locations that you need for the cheats and The Road Less Traveled and Leave No Stone Unturned trophies (and achievements when it comes out Xbox One).
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Intel Locations | General Tips
All of these are persistent across your profile so you can leave right as you get them and they’ll count. Be sure to look at the map pictures to help you pinpoint these intel computers. You can see the map on the pause screen. Most of the shots have the map edited in the top right corner (but not all levels have maps).

The missions are right next to the intel numbers. Just press control and F to search for the mission you need if you need help on one mission in particular.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered intel locations | S.S.D.D. mission
Intel 1 (S.S.D.D.)
In the first mission, when going to “The Pit” after the training section, turn left instead of going in the pit. You’ll see a computer in the tent.

Intel 2 (Team Player)
After getting blown out of the vehicle with the gatling gun, you make your way into a school. Go up the stars until you get to a room where the bottom half of the wall is painted green. Once in that room, go into the room on the right and you’ll see the intel on a desk with a green chair.
Intel 3 (Team Player)
The next piece of intel is right by the other one. The mission will take you outdoors right after you get the previous laptop. Go outside and the intel is sitting on a container next to a yellow car. It’s hard to miss.

Intel 4 (Cliffhanger)
After you and Soap first split up (“Storm is brewing up, let’s split up.”), you’ll come across a big facility to your left. Don’t go in to complete the objective. Instead, go to the right near the red snow vehicle and go up the ladder to a watchtower with a red “6” on it. The intel is right up that ladder.
Intel 5 (Cliffhanger)
Once you plant the C4, you’ll go back on your way to regroup with Soap. Go toward the objective and you’ll drop down into a ditch. Once you drop down, look to your left and you’ll see ol’ Soap. But go right instead. Take a few steps and look into the hangar. Break one of the windows and you’ll see the laptop.
Intel 6 (Cliffhanger)
After jacking the snowmobile at the end, you’ll come across two paths at around the 1,800 meter mark. Instead of going down either path, slowly go through the middle. You’ll see the intel on the ground. Just drive over it to pick it up.

Intel 7 (Takedown)
After the short on-foot chase, you’ll drop into a favela where you’ll see people playing soccer. Drop down and go to the upper right side of the area. There is a house with an orange “cinema” poster on it.
Go inside and you’ll see it on the table.
Intel 8 (Takedown)
This one is just after the favela from the last piece of intel. Continue into the alleyways until you see this building.
Go up the highlighted ladder and it’ll be in that room on a table.
Intel 9 (Takedown)
The next one is right by the last intel. Go left outside of that previous house. You’ll see a house with a few wooden stairs in front of the door. Go inside the house but don’t go to the second floor.
The laptop is on the first floor near the dancing chicken. Hopefully, the chicken isn’t dead in your playthrough.
Intel 10 (Takedown)
The last intel is a little bit away from the previous piece. Progress through the level until you go up some stairs and see a building with yellow writing on it. You’re supposed to go past it, but go inside of it instead.
Go downstairs and the intel is on the first floor.

Intel 11 (Wolverines)
After throwing smoke grenades to evade the vehicle, you’ll make your way down an alley. After coming out of the alley, you’ll see a blue and yellow gas station called Nova. Go inside and it’ll be on the counter.
Intel 12 (Wolverines)
Right after the gas station, you’ll see three bigger buildings: a Burger Town on the right, a Nate’s Sports Bar and Grill(where your objective should be) in the middle, and a bank called CRB Financial on the left somewhat near a downed helicopter. Go into the bank as the intel will be on the teller’s desk near the Online Banking sign.
Intel 13 (Wolverines)
Behind the Burger Town is the Taco Togo. Go inside the Taco To Go and the intel will be on a table. Just melee the glass door to break it open and get in.
Intel 14 (Wolverines)
The final intel in Wolverines is at the Burger Town, but not in the Burger Town. There will be a dumpster just outside of the burger joint. The intel is in that dumpster. It must have gotten mixed in with the bad lettuce.

Intel 15 (The Hornet’s Nest)
There’s a huge radio tower in the beginning of the mission. The intel is not in there, but in the yellow house directly across from it.
Go inside that yellow house and you’ll see the intel on the table.
Intel 16 (The Hornet’s Nest)
In the next section, you’ll see a basketball hoop attached to a telephone pole. Go just past that and look to your right. You’ll see the intel on an oil drum. It’s right by the stairs you need to use to progress but it is easy to miss.
Intel 17 (The Hornet’s Nest)
The next intel is just after the last one. You’ll see a red ice cream shop called Pelayo’s. Go up street just past that ice cream shop and you’ll see a door near a Brazilian flag.
Go inside and up the stairs. You’ll see the intel on a table.
Intel 18 (The Hornet’s Nest)
The last intel is in an area with a soccer field, which is obviously signaled by the big goals. Go to the farther goal and it is in a window just behind the net.

Intel 19 (Exodus)
Follow Honey Badger until you get to a fire truck on the road. That’s your signal. Go to the building on the right of the Garden Villas sign. It should have a motorcycle outside of it.
The intel is on a desk in the back of that reception-like building.
Intel 20 (Exodus)
Continue through the mission until you get to outside of the tunnel. There will be a checkpoint there. There is a door on the right side of the checkpoint near the stop sign. Go inside and you’ll see the intel right near the door you just walked in.
Intel 21 (Exodus)
After crossing the bridge, you’ll come into another neighborhood. Go into the second house on the right. It has a fountain outside of it.
Go inside and go up the stairs. The intel will be sitting on a couch.

Intel 22 (The Only Easy Day… Was Yesterday)
After your first breach, you have to go up two flights of stairs. When you up the second flight of stairs, go forward through to the next room and turn left. It’s on a shelf.
Intel 23 (The Only Easy Day… Was Yesterday)
After your second breach, you’ll be told to go to a vantage point. From there, go forward through the fence that was opened by the soldiers going to search the bodies. Go past that fence and there is a building with “26-3” on it to your right. Go inside and the intel will be there on a shelf.
Intel 24 (The Only Easy Day… Was Yesterday)
After you run into the helicopter and take it down (do it with just frag grenades for a trophy), continue forward until you get to a big pillar (with some green paint on it) near a lifeboat and large red container.
Go inside this doorway on the right and the intel is right under the staircase on some wood pallets.

Intel 25 (The Gulag)
After touching down, you’ll go through a big archway. Once through that archway, you’ll see a red light on top of a building right in front of you. Go up the steps and then into the building.
The intel is in the back of the room.
Intel 26 (The Gulag)
After that last piece of intel, you’ll go through a narrow hallway with a bunch of televisions at the end. Go around the big stack of multiple televisions and the intel is sitting there behind it.
It blends in so watch out for the screen you can interact with.
Intel 27 (The Gulag)
Go along through the mission until you have to go through the armory in the prison. Once through after Soap tells you to grab a riot shield and Ghost opens the door, go forward through but look out for an open door to your right with some security monitors inside and a blue light right above it.
Go in that room and the intel will be on a table on your right.
Intel 28 (The Gulag)
After the cutscene where you save the prisoner, immediately turn around. The intel is sitting behind you on a table by a computer.

Intel 29 (Of Their Own Accord)
When you make your way into the first building, you’re supposed to go right down a hallway. This hallway has elevators and pictures of past American presidents in it.
The elevator that keeps opening and closing on your left in this hallway has the intel in it.
Intel 30 (Of Their Own Accord)
As you make your way up the building, you’ll eventually get to ascend using sloped debris. Go up this sloped debris and go in the next room and turn left. There is a door in there where someone might try to throw a grenade at you.
Shoot him through the door and then go into that room for the intel.

Intel 31 (Contingency)
After you get chased by the vehicle in the beginning, you’ll go stealthy again. Once Price tells you let the next guard pass, you’ll see a big oil pipeline.
Look to the left of it and you’ll see a parachute stuck in a tree with the intel right below it.
Intel 32 (Contingency)
Once Price tells you to use the Predator Drone to weaken their defense, you’ll go through a fence and see a building with a big “33” on it. Go inside of that building.
The intel is in the back in the kitchen, which is on the right side.
Intel 33 (Contingency)
Go out the door right next to the previous intel computer. Look straight ahead to a building with a huge satellite on it.
Go up the stairs and the intel is in the back on some boxes.

Intel 34 (Whiskey Hotel)
The first intel in this mission is right outside the Oval Office, which is where you get the mission to deploy green flares on the roof.
Wait for the one soldier to open the door out of the Oval Office.
Go right through the door and the intel is on a couch to your left.
Intel 35 (Whiskey Hotel)
While running through the level, you’ll come up some stairs and see this tipped over lamp at the top. Just look to your right and you’ll easily see the intel.
Don’t run past even though they’re rushing you.

Intel 36 (Loose Ends)
Once in Makarov’s house, go to the top of the stairs and do the breach to the left of that top stair.
After killing the enemies inside that breached room, you’ll see the intel computer in the back.
Intel 37 (Loose Ends)
Now go into Makarov’s basement. You’ll see the stairs leading down, which the game will direct you to do since there are two more breach doors down there. Once downstairs, you’ll see a hallway with a breach door on both sides with a bathroom at the end. Breach the door on the right.
The intel computer is in there near the second enemy.
Intel 38 (Loose Ends)
This last one is a bit out of the way. Go outside of Makarov’s before you finish breaching.
There is a boat house on the west side of the map (so check your compass at the bottom). Go over to the boat house and you’ll see an intel laptop in the window.

Intel 39 (The Enemy of My Enemy)
This one is right at the start of the level. Once you get control, look to your right and you’ll see a big plane right in front of you. Jump out of the plane you’re in and go inside that aforementioned plane in front of you through the back.
The intel is in the cockpit.
Intel 40 (The Enemy of My Enemy)
There’s a part not too far from the beginning where it funnels you through a broken plane and you can see a big “Lot 36” sign.
The intel is in a plane that’s on fire on the far side of this chasm.

Intel 41 (Just Like Old Times)
After getting into the cave and letting the first patrol go by, Price will go down one path. Don’t go that way yet. Go down the right path like in the picture.
Go a little farther down and you’ll see the intel laptop.
Intel 42 (Just Like Old Times)
You’ll come across a part in the caves with a bunch of red lasers and red fog. Clear all of the enemies and look to your left before you exit the cave. The laptop will be right there on a table.
Intel 43 (Just Like Old Times)
A little further down the level, you’ll see a ravine that enemies will rappel into with smoke.
Go to the right side like in the picture and you’ll see the intel laptop sitting on some boxes near a red light.
Intel 44 (Just Like Old Times)
Right after that intel, you’ll have to breach a door. Carefully shoot everyone and once everyone is dead, you’ll see the intel under the hanging American flag by a computer and a ton of soda cans.

Intel 45 (Endgame)
This one is right at the beginning of the level. Follow Price down and stop when he gets into the boat. The intel is to the left on the dock right before the boat. Don’t miss it as it is easy to sprint to the boat and not even see the laptop.
