These moogle coins are a key item that won’t be of use to you for the first few chapters of the game. What do I do with Moogle Medals in Final Fantasy 7 Remake

There’s not much you can do with Moogle Medals in FF7 Remake until you reach Chapter 8. During that section of the game, you’ll get the Main Quest called “Danger in the Hideout.” One of the orphans will escort you to the kids’ hideout. After you rescue the kids, you can return to the hideout and meet the Mysterious Moogle Merchant as part of a sidequest.

Before you can gain access to The Moogle Emporium’s wares, you have to purchase a Moogle Membership Card. Fortunately, the card only costs one Moogle Medal, and you should have amassed quite a few by this point in the game.

Once you have the card, you can visit the Moogle Merchant any time you’re in the Sector 5 slums and purchase their wares. Their inventory changes at several points in the game, so make sure you check back whenever the story brings you back this way.

How do I get Moogle Medals in Final Fantasy 7 Remake?

So, now that you have access to The Moogle Emporium, you need to get more Moogle Medals to get all that swag. You’ll usually find these coins in the breakable boxes found throughout the game and sometimes in treasure chests.

However, the most dependable way to get Moogle Medals is by playing the minigame in the same location where you find the merchant. The Whack-a-Box challenge gives you a Moogle Medal as a participation prize, so you can start it, and no matter how you do, you’ll get a coin as long as you don’t win one of the better rewards. Once you’ve won all three prizes on a difficulty, you’ll just get mog coins for playing, so you can sit here and farm Moogle Medals to your heart’s content.
