Is Trello down

Is Trello down? | June 2, 2020 error fix

In the current climate, there is a lot of demand for organizational applications like Trello to keep businesses working optimally. Working from home is made that bit easier with apps like this. That is, until they stop working. So is Trello down today? What do the “Could not connect to Trello” and “Board not founderrors mean? Here’s what you need to know about the May 5, 2020 outage and downtime, as well as what we know about when Trello will be working again.

Is Trello down today?

Is Trello down

Unfortunately, yes, Trello appears to be down for many users. We here at GameRevolution are seeing a “Could not connect to Trello” error, with the suggestion to “Reload the page.” Doing so causes a “Board not found” error, which can’t currently be fixed on our end.

At the time of writing, there isn’t yet any official word from Trello about a fix. With so many business depending upon the app to function, here’s hoping it doesn’t take too long for things to be back up and running.

The official Trello Twitter account did tweet a taco emoji an hour before the downtime started. This doesn’t appear to be linked to any scheduled maintenance or planned update. It’s just… a taco.

More and more reports of downtime are flooding in across social media, with users discovering that Boards won’t load and changes aren’t being saved. We’d recommend copying and pasting any longer Cards into a document for safekeeping.

Update: Trello has now acknowledged the problem, stating that it is “investigating” the issue. Here is the full update:

Investigating – Trello is currently slow or unavailable.

Our engineering team is actively investigating this incident and working to bring Trello back up as quickly as possible.

Users affected by this incident may notice that Trello is slow or completely unavailable in both the web and mobile apps.
