It’s possible that restoring your PlayStation account’s product licenses will solve the data corruption error.

  • From the PS4 home screen navigate to:
    • Settings.
    • Account Management.
    • Restore Licenses.
    • Confirm your selection and wait for the process to complete.

Before we resort to deleting the corrupted data and waiting out the sometimes lengthy reinstallation process, it’s worth attempting to rebuild the system database in an effort to repair affected files.

    • Locate and select the game in question.
    • Select the “Download” option.
