Is Mafia 2: Definitive Edition coming to Nintendo Switch?

Mafia 2: Definitive Edition doesn’t appear to be bound for Nintendo’s hybrid handheld at this time.

Is Mafia 3: Definitive Edition coming to Nintendo Switch?

As you might expect, Mafia 3: Definitive Edition doesn’t seem to be receiving a Nintendo Switch port either.

Although the outlook seems pretty bad, 2K Games is shortly set to bring collections pertaining to some of its biggest franchises to Switch. If the upcoming Borderlands, BioShock, and XCOM 2 bundles do well then perhaps the Mafia Trilogy could be next in line. That’s merely speculation, though the precedent is at least there for 2K to port collections of older games from PC, PlayStation, and Xbox to Switch at a later date.

It also seems possible from a technical perspective, with the Nintendo Switch already proving capable of handling various current-gen ports. Rockstar’s L.A. Noire remaster made the jump and is perhaps the closes point of comparison, so there could still be hope yet.
