The new Resident Evil Resistance patch is relatively small, but it stands to significantly alter the way games are played. The June 19 update is based entirely around balance adjustments for enemies and damage adjustments for two specific weapons, the MQ11 and LE5.

There’s really not too much to look into with this update, but the changes should be immediately noticeable. You’ll now find that many of the game’s enemies are now stronger, as the patch increases the base health of seven different enemy types. It also reduces the time added when opening Supply Packs. All things considered, you can expect tougher and more frenetic firefights.

Here are the full Resident Evil Resistance patch notes for the June 19, 2020 update.

Balance Adjustments

  • Increased the base health of Zombies, Crawling Zombies, Armored Zombies, Partially Armored Zombies, Jesters, and Dealers.
  • Increased the base health of the Supply Zombie.
  • Reduced the amount of time added to the timer when Survivors open the Supply Pack dropped by the Supply Zombie.
  • Reduced the base damage dealt by the MQ 11.
  • Reduced the base damage dealt by the LE 5.

In addition to these balance adjustments, the developers have stated that they’re hard at work on the game’s next update. With that said, it’s probably best not to expect new content any time soon. After all, the previous June 12 update provided all manner of new content such as weapon skins, survivor skins, sprays, and gestures. And that’s on top of sweeping balance adjustments for just about all heroes as well as matchmaking tweaks.
