Call of Duty: Warzone provides you with 100 health as a baseline. Each armor plate you equip grants an additional 50 health up to 150 max, and you’ll spawn into matches with two armor plates equipped. With full armor equipped, you will have a total of 250 health.

Unlike in other Call of Duty games, Warzone players can take advantage of health regeneration. Any time you take damage, you can seek cover to regenerate your health. However, your health will only ever recover back up to 100 — damaged armor will not regenerate. To get back to the maximum health of 250, you’ll have to find additional armor plates. Luckily, you can hold up to five armor plates at any given time.

Why do you need to know the base health in Warzone? Simple: It helps determine how quickly you can take down enemies with any given weapon. All sniper rifles and shotguns will be able to kill enemies in one shot if you hit them in the head, whether they’re armored or not. Most will also one-shot kill enemies when hit in the chest, at least as long as they have no armor equipped.

You only have 100 health in Call of Duty: Warzone, though you’ll spawn into matches with two armor plates equipped for an additional 100 health. That number can be increased to a maximum of 250 if you equip three armor plates total. If you’re worried about getting one-shot, be sure to seek out armor as quickly as possible.
