Cyberpunk 2077 Haircut | How to change hair after game start

Hair customization in Cyberpunk 2077 is impressively substantial, with a variety of detailed styles and color options. Players can go totally wild or natural to better fit their character’s personality. After the start of the game, however, it becomes unclear how to change haircut. Is there a barber or hairdresser? Here’s how to change V’s haircut style and color in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 Haircut

To change haircut in Cyberpunk 2077, players must make final adjustments in the character creation menu.

At the time of writing, there is no other way of changing V’s hair outside of the character creation screen. There are no barbers or hairdressers inside or outside of Night City and no way for V to cut their own hair.

This seems like a bit of an oversight in a game that otherwise provides so many opportunities for personalization throughout the course of the game. From clothing to weapons, players can dive deep into different load-outs and looks. Haircuts, for now, remain permanent.

For those players who really want to change V’s hair, a new game is the only true option. Thankfully, the ability to have multiple characters across multiple save files makes it easy to try something new, without totally overwriting progress.

This does seem like a feature that developer CD Projekt RED would eventually add in a post-launch update. After seeing the support for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and its various free patches and paid-for expansions, if anyone can add a “Barber DLC,” it’s got to be CDPR.

Genital customization is another unique addition to the Cyberpunk 2077 character creation screen. Do the different genital options have an impact on gameplay or the story? Here’s the complete guide.

Long loading times can be a really drag in this otherwise next-gen-feeling game. Here’s how to speed up load screens.
