Assassin's Creed Valhalla quiver bug fix arrow capacity

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla | Quiver capacity bug fix

A new problem is preventing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players from holding the correct number of arrows. The so-called quiver bug results in reduced arrow capacity. In most cases, players have already received upgrades that allow then to carry up to 30 arrows. With the bug, their capacity drops back down to just 12 arrows. Thankfully, there are a few ways you can fix the quiver bug and increase your maximum arrow capacity.

How to fix the quiver capacity bug in Assassin's Creed Valhalla

The quiver bug in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla reduces the number of arrows you can carry down to 12. This reduced capacity seems to stem from a glitch in the game’s latest update. You should be able to fix the quiver capacity bug by loading an earlier save. Alternatively, you can try a fix that involves shooting all of your arrows and unequipping your bow.

Since going back to an earlier save is probably not the best bet, here’s the fix you should try first. According to players across the Ubisoft forums and the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla subreddit, you can fix the quiver bug and reset your quiver capacity by following these steps:

  1. Return to Vinland
  2. Equip your bow, then shoot all of your arrows until you have none left
  3. Unequip your bow
  4. Travel to Ravensthorpe, then buy as many arrows as you need
  5. Re-equip your bow to go back to full capacity

Unfortunately, being able to travel to and from Ravensthorpe requires reaching past a certain point in the game. Some players may not have played long enough for this fix to work. In those cases, it may be possible to fix the quiver capacity bug by re-loading an earlier save. This isn’t exactly ideal, since you’ll lose some progress, but it could work for you.

Otherwise, it may be worth waiting for Ubisoft to issue a fix. The quiver bug seems to have been introduced with the release of the recent Yule Festival patch, since most reports stem from the last few days. Chances are good that the developers are aware of the situation already. If so, it’s just a matter of time before the next update fixes the arrow capacity bug entirely.
