Knowing the Resident Evil: Village demo times and platforms is crucial since it is quite a limited teaser of the upcoming horror game. Not everyone will be able to play it. Here’s what platforms the RE Village demo will be on and what times it will be live.
When is the Resident Evil: Village demo going live?
The Resident Evil: Village Village demo will be playable for PS4 and PS5 owners on April 17 at 5 PM PT until 1 AM PT on April 18. Players on either system can preload it on April 15 at 4 PM PT. It is 8.801 GB on PS5. The PS4 version is 9.929 GB.
That time differs for other regions. Europe gets the demo from 7 PM CEST on April 18 to 3 AM CEST on April 19. People in Asia get the demo on April 18 at 5 PM HKT until 1 AM HKT on April 19.
The Resident Evil: Village Castle demo will be playable on April 24 at 5 PM PT until April 25 at 1 AM PT for PS4 and PS5 owners. This is the castle portion of the demo and will go away after 1 AM on April 25 (until the full demo comes out). It is not clear if there will also be a preload date for this one, but it is likely that it will just be in the same download as the Village demo.
This demo will also be different for other regions, too. The demo will be playable on April 25 at 7 PM CEST until April 26 at 3 AM CEST for Europe. And the demo will be playable from April 25 at 5 PM HKT until April 26 at 1 AM HKT for Asia.
Both of these demos are only playable in 30-minute chunks and can’t be repeated within the above time periods. Players can die and continue as long as it keeps them within the 30-minute timer.
After folding to fan feedback, the full demo will now be playable for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC players on May 1 at 5 PM until May 9 at 5 PM PT for North America. Europe gets the demo from May 2 at 2 AM CEST until May 10 at 2 AM CEST. Players in Asia get the demo on May 2 and 8 AM HKT to 8 AM HKT on May 10.
It appears as though Xbox and PC players can preload the demo on April 29 at 5 PM PT. PlayStation players can preload it on April 15 at 4 PM PT.
Players can play this demo as many times as they want in the 24-hour period, but each session can only be one hour at most.
