The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Wrath of the Druids Children of Danu locations are going to be hidden since the game makes players find most of the manually. These are basically the Order of the Ancients from the base game and the Cultists of Kosmos from Odyssey. Here’s how to get every amber shard for Diedre for the “Dawn of the Druids” trophy or achievement as well as how to find every Child of Danu in AC Valhalla.
AC Valhalla Children of Danu locations
Most of the Children of Danu in AC Valhalla can be killed without getting clues first. They are just wandering around the world. However, it’s a big map and finding them naturally without any help is going to require some luck. Essentially, players can just go right up to most of these characters (not the ones in the story missions) if they know where to go after they get the mission to track them down, but here are the clues anyway. Their pictures will be at the end of their sections for photo reference if players who want to skip the clue hunt and murder them.
How to find The Wren (Niamh, the Poet)
The first clue for The Wren is a given, as the game gives it to Eivor once they’ve progressed far enough in the main story.
The second clue for The Wren is in by the Port Auley trade post in the northwest part of the map.
Look inside of the building.
It will be in the back on some sacks.
The second clue is in the northern part of Connact by Lough Gara.
There will be a tall stone with some craters and chest near it. The item will be on the crates by the skull.
Use the Order menu to track her down and she will be in Connacht in a town called Rathcroghan.
She might be sleeping or walking around, depending on the time.
How to find The Cursed (Sétnae, Druid of the Mists)
The Cursed can only be killed by doing the main missions. Players don’t need to w orry about tracking this one down on their own time. However, the first clue is automatically given after killing The Wren. This is one of the mandatory kills in the main campaign so it can’t be missed.
The second is from the “Potion of Blood” main mission, and the last two clues are in the “Into the Fog” mission, where players get to kill The Cursed.
How to find The Deer (Ruaidrí, he of the Ports)
After killing The Cursed as a part of the main story, players will get the first clue for The Deer.
The next clue is by the Armdel trade post.
It is a note on the above location on the map.
This will reveal The Deer’s location. He will be in Inch Lough Neagh, which is in the northeast part of Ireland in Ulster. He will be the water so swim around to the back and try to get the jump on him.
How to find The Spider (Aideen, Merchant of Dublin)
The first clue for The Spider is found on the body of The Deer.
The second clue is a bit odd since players have to win the drinking contest in Dublin. It’s the white horn on the map.
The bet amount does not matter, but the max bet isn’t too difficult.
The third and final clue is tough because it can be misread. It asks players to find the tallest tree in Dublin. But it doesn’t mean the territory of Dublin, it means the town of Dublin. Go to the above spot on the map.
There will be a tree and bench. The clue should be on the bench.
The Spider is actually just in the town of Dublin, too. Check the above spot on the map.
Just sneak up behind her and give her the ol’ hidden blade.
How to find The Ash (Cummascach)
The first clue for The Ash is on The Wren’s body so everyone should have it.
The next clue is at a bony ritual spot between Lough Rea and Lough Tuam, two bodies of water in Connacht.
It’s on top of some stones with some skulls on them. There’s a green flame by it, too.
The final clue is in a tent in Kiltober right near the fast travel synch point, which is in the southern part of Connacht.
It’s by a bunch of druids so be careful.
The Ash is the northwestern part of Connact, as shown in the above map. He’s in an underground cave so he can be hard to pinpoint.
Break some chests, squeeze through a wall, and then slide under one. He will be with someone else in a gassy area.
How to find The Whisper (Leasleach, Madwoman of the Bogs)
Killing The Spider yields the first clue for Leasleach.
The second clue is in Boyne Tombs in the northeast part of Meath. Don’t waste time searching the inside of the tomb.
The clue is thankfully on the top part of the tomb on some crates.
The final clue is also in the northern part of Meath somewhat near one of the trading posts. There is a place called Kells Abbey with a table.
The clue will be on there.
The Whisper’s location is just in the bog (near the last snake). Her location might not be exactly at the point, but getting all the clues will point out her exact spot.
How to find The Blaze (Conlae, he of the Flames)
Murder The Ash for the first clue on The Blaze.
The next clue is in the southeastern section of Ulster in Bally na Gall.
There will be a gravesite near a waterfall in a very burnt town with some enemies in it. The note is on a semi-open grave.
The last clue is in a burned village in Ulster, which is fitting for a guy named “The Blaze.”
Here it is on the map. It’s near the Black Pig’s Dyke.
Look inside one of the houses for the next clue.
The Blaze’s location will then be revealed and he will be quite close to the last house so be sure to immediately check the Order menu in the pause screen and track him. Go kill him and his dog.
How to find The Mist (Trian, he of the Stone Circles)
Killing The Blaze gives the first clue for The Mist.
The second clue is in northern Ulster in a weirdly named cult place called Doon Daven.
Check the middle of the stones. It will be by a big intimidating bony structure.
The next clue and final clue is also in Ulster near Aileach. There is a beached boat with a bunch of sharp wood coming out of it.
Check the front for the clue.
This will reveal where The Mist is. Track him from the Order part of the pause screen and he will be in Doon Fort, which is in the northwestern part of the Ulster.
He will be one of the many cult members in that foggy area.
How to find The Seed (Bécc Mac Nath-í, he of the Oceans)
Players will automatically get the first clue for The Seed when completing the mission called “The Wages of War.” This is one of the mandatory kills in the main campaign so it can’t be missed.
The second clue is the Movilla Abbey in the eastern part of Ulster.
Go into the church and the document will be on a pew.
Defeat The Deer for the next clue.
Now the game will tell the player that he will be at Dunseverick Fortress, which is at the far north side of the eastern side of Ulster. He’ll be in the back part of the fort but might rush out if the player sets off an alert.
How to find The Oak (Eogan mac Cartaigh)
The Oak is part of the main campaign so players don’t need to do anything special for this one. Just kill The Seed and The Cursed, which will be part of the story missions campaign anyway.
