Here’s how to avoid Spider-Man: No Way Home spoilers

Marvel fans are elated today, as the long-awaited trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home leaked online. The footage is unfinished, with patchy VFX, but opens the floodgates for more spoilers to emerge in the coming weeks. If you want to go into No Way Home knowing as little as possible, then fear not. We’re breaking down how to best avoid Spider-Man: No Way Home spoilers.

How to Avoid Spider-Man: No Way Home Spoilers: Extensions and plug-ins

No Way Home spoilers

To avoid Spider-Man: No Way Home spoilers, fans should be very careful of what websites and communities they’re browsing. It’s best to stay away from dedicated Marvel fan circles, as you can bet spoilers will emerge there.

Firstly then, you should mute the keywords related to the film on social media. That includes muting those trends on Twitter, and unsubscribing from any subreddits linked to Marvel, particularly Marvel leaks. While mods will do their best to hide spoilers in the most popular subreddits, you can’t guarantee that they won’t slip through the cracks.

Secondly, there are some extensions and plug-ins that can greatly help in dodging spoilers. One particular highlight is Unspoiler, a free extension for Google Chrome. Once installed, you can type the name of a movie or show you don’t want spoiled. Then, it’ll automatically hide any posts or articles containing information on those titles, ensuring you’re kept safe.

Spoiled is another Chrome extension that does the same thing, but covers the text with a spoiler tag rather than displaying it. If you’re a Chrome user that doesn’t want Spider-Man to be spoiled while casually browsing, then either of these extensions would do the trick.

Of course, it won’t be possible to avoid absolutely everything, unless you were to switch off your computer until December. However, with these tools at your disposal, you can make it a lot easier to block out Spider-Man No Way Home spoilers.

In other news, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf anime is out now. We’ve got details on a shock cameo in the film, as well as the first LGBTQ+ character in the franchise.
