Shadow Warrior 2 Top 5 Best Weapons

There are a lot of weapons to choose from in Shadow Warrior 2. There are a total of 70 weapons, and not all of them are equal. When it comes to performing at your best, which weapons you take into combat will have a huge impact on how well you do.

In this guide we will go over the five weapons that outclass the others. You can feel free to invest heavy resources into these, including upgrades and practice.

Pump Action Shotgun

Rating: 5/5

This weapon is the most dependable in the game. Its effective range might be short, but by using dash you get into and out of medium to short range quickly. This weapon is excellent for disposing of groups of enemies, especially those that aren't deadly in melee range. Ammunition tends to be plentiful for this weapon, meaning that it can be your go-to in the long run.

Sword

Rating: 5/5

Don't bother with Short Blades, and invest in Swords instead. These hit hard and are simple to use to their maximum potential. What makes them stand out is they deal phenomenal damage while also not requiring ammunition. They are the bread and butter of a survivalist.

Automatic Rocket Launcher

Rating: 4/5

This is a heavy duty weapon that you should save for bosses. It not only packs a serious punch, but has great splash damage that can clear a room if aimed right. Ammunition is hard to come by, which is really the main downfall of the weapon.

Grip of Darkness

Rating: 4/5

Yes, it's not a weapon, but it might as well be. Grip of Darkness is your most effective Power. You can use it to crowd control enemies around you, potentially saving your life, in addition to setting up easy shots on dangerous foes. It's a well rounded ability that should be a mainstay in virtually every hardcore player's toolkit.

Revolver

Rating: 4/5

This weapon requires some good aim due to its low rate of fire and long reload time after six shots. However, it hits very hard, and you'll find yourself drowning in ammunition for the weapon. It's recommended that you use this instead of the Bow. That is, unless you're a die-hard Bow fanatic.
