Modern Warfare 2 Time to Kill TTK Dying Fast

Modern Warfare 2 TTK (Time to Kill): Why Am I Dying So Fast?

Players are already asking if the Time to Kill in Modern Warfare 2 is too short. Call of Duty TTK is a topic that’s been hotly debated among the community for over a decade with every new game in the series. So, it’s no surprise that some people are finding Modern Warfare 2 TTK is making them die faster than they feel they should.

Is the Modern Warfare 2 TTK too low?

There are a ton of variables that go into Modern Warfare 2 TTK. Each weapon has different damage and handling characteristics, and some will be more powerful than others. Complicating things is the fact that there’s still work to be done on balancing the game for launch. So, there’s a very real possibility that TTK isn’t where it needs to be just yet.

However, players need to also take into account that movement has changed in this game as well. So, even if you just spent the last year playing Vanguard every day, it’ll take a while to get used to the subtle changes in sprinting, sliding, and speed. All this can affect your overall performance more than you realize.

We haven’t got exact stats for TTK yet, but the Infinity Ward games trend toward lower numbers. Modern Warfare (2019)‘s average TTK is 184ms, and that’s likely around what we’re seeing in the beta. So, if you feel like it’s too low, make sure to leave feedback now so the devs can make adjustments before launch.
