Hogwarts Legacy Can you change wand does choices matter

Hogwarts Legacy: Can I Change My Wand and Does Wand Choice Matter?

It doesn’t matter what wand you choose in Hogwarts Legacy. It’s an entirely cosmetic option that doesn’t affect gameplay. However, you can’t select another wand after leaving Olevanders, so make sure you’re happy with how it looks.

Do your wand choices matter in Hogwarts Legacy?

Hogwarts Legacy Wand Creation

The wand you choose in Hogwarts Legacy doesn’t affect gameplay. However, you can’t customize your wand again once you’ve purchased it. Once you leave Olevanders, you’re stuck with it until the end.

The core is the only aspect of your wand that we’ve heard NPCs refer to. However, it shouldn’t influence your decision too much because it’s only mentioned once or twice and doesn’t affect the game other than a line or two of dialog.

The Wand Core options are:

  • Dragon Heartstring: Dragon heartstring that serves as the core of a wand, known for producing powerful magic
  • Unicorn Hair: The hair of a unicorn that serves as the core of a wand, known for producing consistent magic.
  • Phoenix Feather: The feather of a phoenix that serves as the core of a wand, capable of producing a great range of magic.

So, just concentrate on making a wand that you like in Hogwarts Legacy. You won’t get a second chance, so make sure you get it right the first time.

Now that you have your want, learn how to catch the flying pages.
