Fortnite Emerald Axe: How to Unlock

Fortnite Emerald Axe: How to Unlock the Emerald Smasher

Fortnite‘s St. Patrick’s day celebrations are already underway with plenty of green-themed cosmetics back in the shop, but it seems the unlocking of one particular “Emerald Axe” harvesting tool is on many players’ minds.

Each year, a similar scam rolls around offering an “Emerald Axe” code to be redeemed on Fortnite via less trustworthy websites, masking it as a free event code, so it’s best to avoid it and choose the real alternative: the Emerald Smasher.

Fortnite: How to unlock the Emerald Smasher

To unlock the Emerald Smasher, players will need to open the Item Shop in Fortnite and check the Lucky Offers tab. The pickaxe will be available to purchase for 800 V-Bucks.

Originally released on March 17, 2019, the recurring Emerald Smasher harvester has been a popular purchase among fans of green. The Emerald Smasher, along with Lucky Rider, Lucky Clover, Pot O’ Gold, and other shamrock-shaped items will be available for just a few days in a short celebration of St. Patrick’s day around the world.
