Resident Evil 4 Remake Large Cave Shrine Code Symbol Locations

You’ll need to find a code in the Large Cave Shrine in Resident Evil 4 remake to get one of two items needed to progress further in the game. You’ll need to input the code on a stone dais, but getting it isn’t as easy as finding a file. Instead, you’ll need to spot it written on the surface of the cave itself.

You’ll find the symbols that make up this code in the following areas:

  • To the left of the ladder in the northeast part of the shrine.
  • Stand at the stone dais and turn 180 degrees, and you’ll see the next part of the code on two pillars.
  • Walk south to the end of the walkway and then turn around, and you’ll spot the last code symbol on the wall.

Once you input all three code symbols into the pedestal, the nearby door will slide open, and you’ll find the Apostate’s Head inside. This is one of two items you need to get the key to the church.
