Resident Evil 4 Remake Dining Hall Puzzle Solution: Which Seats to Set In

You’ll need to solve a puzzle in the Dining Hall in Resident Evil 4 remake to get the Serpent Head. This is one of the trickier puzzles in the game because the room is full of red herrings. However, once you figure out which seat to sit at, you can complete it in a matter of seconds.

How to solve the Dining Hall table seat puzzle in Resident Evil 4 remake

Resident Evil 4 remake Dining Hall Puzzle Seat Solution

The solution to the Dining Hall puzzle in Resident Evil 4 remake is:

  • Leon sits in the fourth seat on the left.
  • Ashley sits in the second seat on the right.

You can see our handy diagram above to see exactly where these seats are located.

What makes the Dining Hall puzzle so the trick is that there are a lot of distractions in the room that can make it tough to figure out the solution. However, the only clues you need are the two paintings at the back of the room. In them, you’ll see a man and a woman, each with a table setting in front of them.

To solve the puzzle, have Ashley sit in the chair by the table setting in the woman’s painting and then have Leon sit in front of the one in the portrait of the man. When you’re in the correct locations, Ashley and Leon will ding the bells on the table, and you can grab the Serpent Head bust.
