What happens in the ending of Resident Evil 4 remake?

At the conclusion of Resident Evil 4 remake, Leon and Ashely escape the island on a jet-ski We find out that Ada has captured a specimen of Plaga, and she contacts the person she’s been working for, former S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team Leader, Umbrella researcher, and triple agent Albert Wesker. She plans on bringing him the “Amber,” the Plaga sample she obtained, but his response to her report causes her to pause.

Wesker plans to use the Plagas as part of his plans for a new world order. He says that he expects there’ll be billions of casualties. Hearing this, Ada decides against bringing the Plaga to him.

It’s unknown whether Ada was a double agent working for The Organization. In the original, she never planned to give Wesker the dominant strain of the Plaga, and had been working with a rival corporation the entire time. However, we won’t know the entirety of her story unless Capcom releases a remade Separate Ways scenario.
