The best Reaper counter in Overwatch 2 is a mid to long-range hero like Ashe. Ashe is super powerful against Reaper given that she can pick him off from a reasonable distance, but still has an escape ability if he gets too close.

Taking down an enemy Reaper can be one of the most challenging parts of gameplay in Overwatch 2, thanks to his high damage with dual shotguns when he’s nearby. To combat this, you will want to play as a hero who can deal a substantial amount of damage while maintaining a long distance from the enemy.

If you are playing as Ashe or Widowmaker, you will want to make sure you have an exit route established before engaging in the fight. Reaper can teleport to your location with relative ease, so you will need a way to hop out of the battle, unless of course as Widow you can line up that perfect headshot in time.

This isn’t as big of a problem for a Pharah player who can maintain their hover and aim well. Pharah may be the best choice for a Reaper counter, as she can stay well away from him at all times, often leading to the enemy player switching Reaper out for a different hero entirely.
