Final Fantasy 16 Demo Release Date

Will There Be a Final Fantasy 16 Demo Release Date?

A Final Fantasy 16 demo release date is coming, but we still have a bit of a wait. Square Enix has already confirmed that a demo will come out, but it wasn’t after the State of Play like some fans expected. Instead, we’ll see it closer to when the game launches.

When is the release date for the Final Fantasy 16 demo?

The release date for the Final Fantasy 16 demo will fall around two weeks before the full game launches. So, look for it sometime between June 5 and June 9. This was confirmed by FF16 director and producer Naoki Yoshida speaking with Famitsu (translation via Genki-JPN).

After the April State of Play, there were some fans who were dissatisfied that the demo still hadn’t been released. Due to the fact that Square Enix never confirmed the information above with publications that use the English language, a significant number of viewers were unaware that the timing had already been decided.

Thankfully, Square Enix is pretty reliable when it comes to dropping substantial demos. Therefore, before the official launch of Final Fantasy 16, we should have the opportunity to play through a decent portion of it. The studio will likely announce the timing for the trial version in the coming weeks.
