What happens in the ending of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?

At the end of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Cal, Greez, and Merrin make it through the Koboh Abyss by following the beam of the aligned arrays. They arrive at Tanalorr, and Merrin and Cal confront Bode Akuna. They attempt to convince Bode to surrender and face his crimes, but he attacks. A furious fight ensues, but Cal is able to defeat him. Unfortunately, even after being seriously injured, Bode refuses to back down, and Cal is forced to kill him.

After the fight, Cal and Merrin reclaim the compass and take custody of Bode’s daughter, Kata. Afterward, Cal, Merrin, Greez, and Kata give Eno Cordova, Cere, and Bode a Jedi burial. Later on, Cere appears to Cal and gives us a big clue as to what the sequel might be about. She says, “Guide her through the darkness,” and disappears. It’s likely that she was referring to Kata, who will obviously have issues to sort through after losing both her parents at a young age.

At the conclusion of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, it’s vague as to what Cal and the gang will do with Tanalorr. It’s a refuge that only they can access, so they could hide there and wait out the Empire’s reign. However, Cal had the idea of using it as a base to gather rebel forces to fight the Empire. Alternatively, they may decide to follow Cere’s dreams and use it as a hidden Jedi temple to preserve what remains of the order. Unfortunately, the postgame doesn’t reveal much about the crew’s future plans.
