Star Wars Jedi: Survivor: How to Get Past the Fan in Bygone Settlement

The first time you explore the Bygone Settlement in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you’ll find your way blocked by a fan. You’ll probably look for a way to shut it down or an alternate way to the Sandcrawler. However, you’ll need to wait a while before you can get past it.

Can you shut down the fan in Bygone Settlement in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

You can’t shut down the fan in Bygone Settlement in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. However, you can get past it once you get a new ability. You’ll have to wait until you reach Chapter 4.1: The Hidden Path. You’ll visit the Singing Ruins and obtain the Dash ability during this part.

Once you have Dash, you can jump into any wind and push through it. So, once you return to Koboh, you can head back to the Bygone Settlement, return to the fan, and jump, then dash through the wind and make it to the climbable section on the other side. After that, follow the path around, and you’ll eventually reach the Sandcrawler. If you’ve been visiting the Cantina, you should already have a rumor pointing you in the right direction.

The prize for finally getting past the fan and reaching the Sandcrawler is that you can recruit the Jawas. Once you do, return to Rambler’s Reach to get access to a few more buildings.
