EA Servers Down

Are EA Servers Down? EA App Login Failed Error Fix

The EA servers have been spotty, and prone to frequent outages. This impacts everything across Electronic Arts, including the EA App failed error and disruptions with every EA game. Unfortunately, the majority of EA games require an online connection – even the parts that are offline. So if the EA servers go down, a lot of the publisher’s games are not accessible and can’t be started.

What is the EA server status?

The EA server status is down for many players, at the time of this writing. If you’re still experiencing errors with EA games and the EA App, you’ll need to wait for the publisher to fix the issue.

The EA Help Twitter stated on May 4, 2023 at around 9:00am that Electronic Arts had fixed the connectivity issues with its servers. However, as noted by the multiple responses to the tweet, many players are still not able to access their games.

From the replies, there’s a wealth of issues for EA servers at the moment. It looks like the servers for consoles, including the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, have not been fixed yet. It also looks like users might still have problems with Origin or the EA App.

The problem could be that the fix EA has implemented hasn’t reached every server quite yet. Because of this, it may take a lot of time before its reported patch hits servers around the world. Either way, the publisher is aware of the problem, and as stated in a prior tweet, it knows that players are not able to “connect to online modes, buy games, or log in” to their accounts.

Typically, we recommend going to the official EA Help page that provides updated information on the EA server status and links to Nintendo, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and PC to see if their servers could be the problem. However, the page doesn’t have any info on what’s happening at the moment. So instead, we suggest that you head to DownDetector to see if other users are reporting issues.
