Can I fix the Master Sword in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

You won’t be able to repair the Master Sword in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom at the start of the game. After the Demon King melts it, you’re stuck with the small amount of blade and the hilt that remains. Its power is completely shattered, and it only has an attack rating of one if you equip it.

Fortunately, it’s not the Master Sword’s fate to remain broken. Right before you leave Great Sky Island, Link will send the Master Sword through a portal to Zelda. It’s likely that she can find what it needs to be fixed and will have it repaired so Link can use it again.

However, plan on waiting a while before seeing it again in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The sword is a powerful weapon against evil, and Zelda will undoubtedly hide it somewhere hard to find. You’ll have to seek it out to claim its power like in previous titles.

Now, see how to find Captain Hoz in Hyrule Castle.
