Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Ocarina of Time Outfit: How to Get the Hero of Time Set

You can unlock the Ocarina of Time outfit in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The Hero of Time set can be acquired as in Breath of the Wild. However, you won’t find it while exploring Hyrule. Instead, you’ll need to unlock it using external means, which may not be available to you.

How to get the Ocarina of Time outfit in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

You can unlock the Hero of Time set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom by using the Ocarina of Time Link amiibo. Scanning it will give you about a 10-20% chance of getting one of these pieces of the Hero of Time set:

  • Cap of Time
  • Tunic of Time
  • Trousers of Time

Like with the other classic armor sets, each of these starts with a defense stat of three. Fortunately, they’re still upgradable using the Great Fairies and can max out at 20 points each.

The act of unlocking the Ocarina of Time outfit in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is easy. However, you can only scan an amiibo once every 24 hours. So, depending on your luck, it can take weeks before you finally get the whole set. There is a way around this limitation, but its drawbacks make it a pain.
