Diablo 4 Season Blessings Bug

Diablo 4 Season Blessing Bug: How to Fix Urn of Bargaining Glitch in Season 1

An unusual Diablo 4 Season Blessing bug involving the Urn of Bargaining are hitting players in Season 1. This seasonal blessing is supposed to increase the amount of gold you receive by a fixed percentage from vendors after selling items and equipment. But instead of adding 5% or more to the gold you get, it also increases the fee for re-rolling traits for legendary items at the occultist. Here’s how to fix the glitch with the Diablo 4 seasonal blessing in Season 1.

How to fix Diablo 4 Season 1 blessing bug

To fix the Diablo 4 Season 1 blessing bug with the Urn of Bargaining, you can take points away from the seasonal blessing before you head to occultist.

You can also avoid the Urn of Bargaining altogether during Season 1, or wait before Blizzard addresses the issue with a hotfix or patch. That said, this bug has seemingly only been discovered recently and given all of the changes that patch 1.1.1 is supposed to be bringing, it may take awhile before the developers are able to fix this glitch. Worse case scenario, this bug will simply remove itself after the Season of the Malignant is over.

This bug was found by a Diablo 4 Twitch streamer named Datmodz, who has documented the glitch with a video clip. He shows that enchanting a legendary item is supposed to cost 7.4 million gold, but after putting a few points into the Urn of Bargaining season blessing, this jumps to over 8 million gold. This is likely because of lazy coding, where the overall gold price increases for multiple places instead of just the sale price.

According to further testing by users on the Diablo 4 Reddit, this bug does not impact the re-enchanting fee for rare items. That said, it’s unclear if the gold cost for other fees like repairing items is also impacting by this bug or not. So we recommend being very careful with the Urn of Bargaining blessing in case you still wish to use it.
