A DayZ Switch release date would allow Nintendo fans to jump into one of the most recognizable survival games in the medium. Many are wondering if the game is coming out on Nintendo Switch, so here’s everything we know.
Is DayZ coming out on Switch?
DayZ hasn’t been confirmed for a Switch release.
The game’s Twitter account noted in May 2018 that a Switch version wasn’t being planned. Bohemia Interactive has yet to follow up on that note in the five years since. However, strangely, the studio put out Vigor, a free-to-play looter shooter in 2020, on the Switch. This shows that there’s at least some will to release games on the Switch, even if those games aren’t DayZ.
Bohemia also ported DayZ to PS4 and Xbox One in 2019, but has not ported the game elsewhere since.
Is there a DayZ Switch release date?
There is no DayZ Switch release date.
As was previously stated, Bohemia said in 2018 it had no plans of porting the game to the Switch. Plans can change, but the lack of updates since strongly implies there’s no release date for an possible Switch version.
