To find the Trader’s Signet in Sea of Stars, you need to go to Wind Tunnel Mines after you take down Malkomud. Once you go into the mines, take the elevator down one floor.
Then go up the ladder right near the shop entrance and save point.
Go through the door and keep going up. Go right and sidle across the wall.
Follow the path to the right until you can sidle across another wall. After crossing over to the other side, climb up the rocks and use the upper pathway to go all the way around until you get to a door with a giant hole in it. Use the the Mines Key to open it.
Now, you’ll need to solve a puzzle with the two tall gems, as marked in the above picture. To solve this, push column B right, up, and left. Then push column A down and right. Go back to column B and push it down and then right on the button. This will allow you to easily put column A on against the short wall that has raised up. Push column A into the hole and jump down.
The column you just pushed down will now need to be pushed into the right place, as shown in the above picture. Now just climb up the ledges and jump across to open the chest with the Trader’s Signet in it.
How to find the hidden market to use the Trader’s Signet in Sea of Stars
If you have found the Trader’s Signet and don’t know what to use it on, you have to first find the hidden market. This is implied by its description that says that it “might be of interest to a certain merchant.” Go to the Port Town of Brisk and go to the rope ladder leading down to the water near the save point.
Go down and then under the wooden overhang and swim up. You’ll then find yourself in the hidden market.
