AC Mirage: How to Get Skill Points

Assassin’s Creed Mirage skill points are not exactly like skill points in other games. While many other games (including Assassin’s Creed games) give them out for leveling up, this title, as repeatedly stated by Ubisoft, does not have any sort of experience system to speak of. Here’s how to get skill points in AC Mirage.

How to get skill points in AC Mirage

To get skill points in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you will beat certain side mission and main missions. Side missions will always notify you of their rewards. You can check these rewards in the map menu when you hover over one of the mission icons (you can also see them when you first accept the mission in the Hidden Ones bureau). Ones that give out skill points will have a diamond-like symbol on them; the same symbol you see at the bottom of the skill tree screen in the pause menu.

Big assassination missions also yield a few skill points upon completion. Finding various lost books (one of the gold-colored collectibles) also gives players a single skill point.

There are no ways to traditionally level up in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, so there is no way to farm experience for more levels. Basim only gets skill points through doing mission and not through any experience system. The game will also always notify you when you get a skill point with a giant pop-up at the end of missions that give out skill points.

These skill points can be used in the skill try to buy a variety of new upgrades. Some of these give you access to more tools, others increase the effectiveness of your eagle, and many others make you a more dangerous assassin or swordsman. You can also reset all of your skills in the game by going to the skill tree and holding the appropriate button (Square on PlayStation and X on Xbox). Respeccing does not cost anything, either, so you are encouraged to do it as often as you see fit.
