Lords of the Fallen Umbral Eyes: How to Use Them

The Lords of the Fallen Umbral Eyes are one of the many different types of items in the game that do not immediately make their purpose known. But they are important enough to look into. Here is how to use Umbral Eyes in Lords of the Fallen and what they do.

To use Umbral Eyes in Lords of the Fallen, you will have to go to a twisted character named Molhu. Molhu is in the Skyrest Bridge area that you unlock after beating Pieta (the first main boss with the wings), which you can easily get to by warping to the Vestige of Ethryg.

From that vestige, turn around and go up the stairwell just to your right (the one in the above picture). Then go into the Umbral Realm by pressing the lantern button (L2 on PS5, LT on Xbox controllers) and hold the Square button on PS5 or X button on Xbox pads.

Talk to Molhu and you will see an option called “Socket Umbral Eye.” Pick that and you will be able to see the array of Umbral Eyes you have picked up and you will be able to equip whatever one you currently have. Umbral Eyes have two functions – a main and secondary one – so these allow you to customize your character just a little more. You can also upgrade your lamp (which is also at Molhu’s shop) so you can slot multiple Umbral Eyes at the same time. This requires an Antediluvian Chisel, though.

Umbral Eyes are somewhat rare and be retrieved by killing certain enemies or bosses. For example, you can an Umbral Eye by slaying the Scarlet Shadow, the stalker enemy that comes after you after spending too much time in the Umbral Realm.
