Fortunately, fulfilling the boost biodiversity requests in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Indigo Disk is worth it. Each biome upgrade unlocks a highly desirable list of Pokemon any fan wants to catch. Specifically, this is how you unlock the ability to catch starter Pokemon from the previous eight generations of Pokemon games.

If you’re playing solo, you’ll probably be looking at several hours to get enough BP to unlock each upgrade.
If you want to unlock the biodiversity upgrades quickly, you’ll need to use the Union Circle to play multiplayer. There are exclusive quests there that allow you to clear 300-600 BP quickly. Otherwise, you’re looking at 10-30 BP per BBQ on average, with the occasional 100 BP quest popping up.
So, despite the time sink, fulfilling the biodiversity upgrade support requests in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Indigo Disk is worth it. You’ll get access to some highly desirable Pokemon, and you can catch as many of them as you want.
