Lethal Company can you get a gun

Lethal Company Weapons: Is There a Way to Get a Gun?

On the desolate moons of Lethal Company, survival hinges on two things: wits and your weapons, with the trusty shovel being your first line of defense against skittering nightmares. However, most players just want to know if there’s a way to get a gun. The introduction of firearms in Update 45 marked a shift in gameplay dynamics, offering players a chance to level the playing field against stronger opponents. But the players are still confused about whether or not they can get a gun in Lethal Company.

Can you get a gun in Lethal Company?

Yes, players can get guns in Lethal Company. Although firearms are a later addition to the game, they are extremely useful in defeating higher-level enemies. Here is how you can obtain weapons in Lethal Company:

Shotgun

  • Location: Found exclusively on higher-threat moons (Titan, Rend, Dine) within facility interiors.
  • Acquisition: Defeat the Nutcracker monster, a new enemy introduced in Update 45 that wields the shotgun.
  • Strategy: Approach cautiously, as the Nutcracker will actively use the shotgun against you. You will need to time your attacks carefully, striking when it reloads and retreating when it’s ready to fire. Aim for 4-5 hits with a melee weapon (Sign-Post, Shovel, or Yield-Sign) to take it down.
  • Ammo: Collect two bullets from the Nutcracker’s corpse after defeating it. Restock by killing additional Nutcrackers.

Zap Gun

  • Cost: 400 credits
  • Purchase: To purchase it you need to interact with the Terminal inside your ship. Type “store” and “zap gun” to initiate the purchase. Confirm the order if you have sufficient credits. Collect the Zap Gun from the store drop pod.
