Monopoly Go Tycoon Racers Explained Rewards Rules Strategy

Monopoly Go Tycoon Racers Explained: How Does This Co-Op Event Work?

The Monopoly Go Tycoon Racers is a new major event that has the possibility of a global release. It is currently available in the Philippines, so you’ll need to use a VPN to access it if you’re outside of that region. But if developer Scopely deems the event as a success, it could enter the rotation of the other mini-games, like Peg-E Prize Drop, the treasures digging event, and the co-op partners event. These mini-games have been fairly redundant, so it would be good to see something new to shake things up. Here’s everything we know so far about how Tycoon Racers works for Monopoly Go on iOS and Android.

What are the Monopoly Go Tycoon Racers event rules?

The Monopoly Go Tycoon Racers mini-game works similar to the partners event except that it introduces an element of PvP, as your team will be competing against three other teams in the pursuit of rewards.

The Tycoon Racers event is a three-day event that begins with an initial phase where you need to join and create a team of four other players. The main difference between the team you make here versus a regular partners event is that the four players on your team will be in the same group. So making sure that the members of your group have a large dice bank is very important. Throughout the event, you will need to collect checkered flags by landing on spaces with them on the board, completing Quick Win objectives, and opening free gifts from the in-game store.

Your team will then be paired up with three other teams who will compete against each other in two races, one that takes place on the second day and the other on the third. During a race, you’ll use the flags you’ve collected to activate a roller with three dice, with each roll costing 20 flags at the base x1 multiplier. Like the wheel in the partners event, you can increase the multiplier here to increase the sum of the three dice. (Getting triples earns a x10 bonus.)

These points are then added to your team’s point total, which moves your team’s racer on the track in the center of the field. Your group can earn up to 12 chests with random rewards by completing more laps. The point total then determines how many placement points your group receives at the end of a race. After two races, your team will earn prizes based on your placement.

What are the Monopoly Go Tycoon Racers rewards and lap prizes?

Monopoly Go Tycoon Racers rewards prizes

There are two sets of prizes for the Monopoly Go Tycoon Racers event: one for your teams’ placement and another from chest you obtain from lap rewards throughout the mini-game.

These are the rewards your group will receive for its placement after two races:

  • 1st Place – Wild Sticker + 2700 Free Dice Rolls
  • 2nd Place – 5-Star Purple Sticker Pack + 750 Free Dice Rolls
  • 3rd Place – 4-Star Blue Sticker Pack + 375 Free Dice Rolls
  • 4th Place – 125 Free Dice Rolls

Your team will also earn a certain number of chests depending on how many laps your racecar makes. Every chest you earn has a random set of rewards, and you’ll be able to select one of them as you wish. Your lap reward choices include the following:

  • Cash
  • Free dice rolls (125 to 550)
  • Flag tokens (100 to 360)
  • 2-Star Orange Sticker Pack
  • 3-Star Pink Sticker Pack
  • 4-Star Blue Sticker Pack
  • 15-Minute Mega Heist
  • 25-Minute Wheel Boost
  • 15-Minute High Roller
  • 15-Minute Cash Boost

We recommend taking the sticker packs and the High Roller boost if they pop up. Getting around 500 dice isn’t that bad either if you want to regain some dice that have spent. The High Roller, though, will potentially earn you a lot more flag tokens to help your team (and it will help you get through tournaments and banners).
