Wii Games Are Coming to the Wii U eShop

Wii games will be making their way to the Wii U eShop, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced during today's Nintendo Direct.

The first batch of confirmed games include Super Mario Galaxy 2Metroid Prime Trilogy, and Punch-Out!!

 

Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be available as soon as this morning's Nintendo Direct concludes. Meanwhile, Punch-Out!! is set to arrive next week on January 22, while Metroid Prime Trilogy launches on January 29. Each title will be priced at $19.99 but during their first week on the eShop they'll be available at half price.
