Sony Europe Files Trademark for Resistance

It looks like we may not have seen the end of the Resistance franchise, as Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has filed a trademark for "Resistance" game software.

The trademark was filed today, as spotted by NeoGAF user Rosti.

It's worth noting that Resistance: Fall of Man was trademarked by Sony back in 2007 and will expire in March of next year. Whether or not this new trademark registration is a signal that we're getting Resistance 4 remains to be seen. After all, Sony could just be protecting the IP in case the company wants to return to the franchise at a later date.

Would you like to see another entry in the Resistance franchise? As a huge fan of Resistance 3, I'd love to see that story continued.
