PlayStation MVPs Invited to Special Event in NYC

If you’re considered among the elite in the PlayStation Network, you may have found an invite to a private event in New York City. You lucky duck, you.

Those deemed to be upper-echelon players by Sony received emails to a private event at Gotham Hall in New York City on Friday, February 13 from 3-6pm Eastern, and will include playable unreleased games, a celebrity red carpet, and most importantly, free open bar.

The event surrounds a “new PlayStation initiative,” according to the email. Speculation abounds, with everything from a PS4 Slim to new subscription-based ventures to a possible PS Vita successor.

Comrades, speculate away: what do you think the new "initiative" could be?
