Resident Evil Remake Now Capcom’s Fastest-Selling Digital Title Ever

Plenty of people still love the original Resident Evil if last month's remaster is any indication. According to Capcom, Resident Evil HD Remaster is the company's fastest-selling digital title ever in both North America and Europe.

Capcom Producer Yoshiaki Hirabyashi delivered a thank you message on YouTube and expressed his appreciation to the fans.

“It’s been great to see so many positive comments from fans that have enjoyed this new release," he said. "The team here at Capcom Japan have worked hard to bring the game to the latest generation of consoles and we are thrilled at this news on its performance.”
