God of War III Getting PS4 Remaster

It's been 10 years since the video game world was introduced to Kratos, and Santa Monica Studios and Sony are celebrating the anniversary with the announcement of God of War III Remastered.

The 2010 series entry is heading to PlayStation 4 on July 14 with upgraded visuals. More specifically, the game will run at 1080p with photo mode support. No other details have been revealed at the moment.

The first two God of War games were remastered for PlayStation 3 back in 2009, so it's not surprising to see God of War III getting the same treatment on Sony's new console.

Santa Monica Studio has already confirmed an upcoming God of War project, so perhaps the remaster hints at a bigger announcement in the coming months.
