Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Gets Benchmark and Ultimate Fighting Game Trailer

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is just two months away, and Square Enix has decided to release two brand new trailers to celebrate the occasion.

The first trailer is the official benchmark video for Heavensward. On Monday it will be released in benchmark form so that PC gamers can see how their rig fares with the expansion. For now, the video is viewable in all its stunning glory. It shows several of the expansion's hot additions including flying mounts, the new Au'Ra race, and even the long-awaited Dark Knight job. See it in all its beauty below.

The second trailer is a more playful one. Titled Ultimate Fight Final Fantasy XIV, it shows off how the game would look if it were a 2D fighter. It looks surprisingly good, actually. This gameplay format is not actually implemented in the game, but subscribers are already requesting that it be added to the recently introduced Gold Saucer. Enjoy the battle below.

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is on schedule to release on June 23rd for PC, PS4, and PS3.
