Shadow of Mordor GOTY Edition Announced

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed the Game of the Year Edition of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor today. The expanded version of the game comes out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 5.

Shadow of Mordor's GOTY Edition includes all previous DLC, such as the Hunt and Bright Lord story packs. Also included are additional skins, challenges, missions, runes, and a photo mode.

The GOTY Edition isn't surprising considering the reception for Shadow of Mordor last year. Monolith's open-world action game stood out as one of the best games of 2014, particularly for its inventive nemesis system.

When the GOTY Edition of Shadow of Mordor releases next week, it will cost $49.99.
