Developer Ninja Theory, the studio behind Heavenly Sword and DmC: Devil May Cry, is currently hard at work on Hellblade. Fans eagerly awaiting the new IP from Ninja Theory will be able to see some gameplay footage in just a few short weeks.
The smaller team behind the upcoming action game has been detailing the development process in a video diary series. The latest episode delves into how the game will "look, feel, and play." It's all in preparation for the first gameplay reveal on June 10.
Ninja Theory aims to create a AAA experience with an independent-sized team with Hellblade. It plans to carve out a 10-15 minute chunk of the game, called a vertical slice, as the first playable portion of Hellblade. The upcoming gameplay reveal will incorporate the highlights of that vertical slice.
Hellblade is scheduled to come out this year for PlayStation 4 and PC.
