Halo 3: ODST Xbox One Release Date Leaked [Update: False Alarm!]

[Update] 343 Industries has confirmed in a pair of posts on Twitter that the "leaked" release date for ODST on Xbox One was actually just a placeholder.

"A placeholder release date for the ODST campaign for Halo: The Master Chief Collection was inadvertently listed on the Xbox Store," the dev explained, adding, "We continue final testing and will make an official announcement once our release date is determined, and apologize for any confusion."

[Original] Halo 3: ODST's release date for Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming in just a couple days, on May 29, according to a leaked listing on Xbox.com.

The listing, which was first spotted by IGN, has since been pulled, and Microsoft has yet to formally announce a launch date for the Xbox One release, so stay tuned for future updates. Something tells me we'll get word from the Big M very, very soon.

Are you still invested in 343 Industries massive Halo compilation for Xbox One? Will ODST's release be enough to suck you back in? I'm still holding out hope that we'll get Halo: Reach added to the collection as well.
