Sony Admits to Having “Sparse” First-Party Lineup

With the recent delays of both Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Insomniac Games' Ratchet & Clank remake to 2016, Sony's slate of first-party exclusive content for 2015 is looking rather slim.

The PlayStation manufacturer is well aware of this fact and hopes that third-party content will be able to carry PS4 into 2016. "Our first party lineup is a little sparse this year, so I think this places even greater emphasis on getting good third party support," PlayStation president Andrew House said during the company's annual Investor Relations Day conference.

PlayStation 4 owners received Bloodborne earlier this year, and with Until Dawn and a handful of promising indies on the horizon, 2015 doesn't look like it will be a complete bust for Sony when it comes to exclusive content. Hopefully we'll get a few exciting announcements at E3, too.
